Barbra is very creative. She brings lots of ideas to the table and is willing to work towards your vision. We didn’t have much time for our session, but she was able to get a bunch of great pictures. She works well with kids and helps capture the emotion of the moment. I will definitely be using her services again!

Barbra was so flexible with setting up our appointment, she was kind and easy to work, and edited and returned our pictures so quickly. Her prices are reasonable and she did a phenomenal job!

I cannot say enough good things about Barbra! I found her in a local group and decided to reach out about a family session on super short notice. Her communication was fantastic. We have a large family (6 kids between the ages of 11 years and 4 months old) and it can be a struggle to find someone that is kind and patient. Not only did she make us feel comfortable and paid attention to what made the kids genuinely smile, but she was quick and efficient while also getting some great photos. We will definitely be booking again in the future to capture more memories. Thank you, Barbra!

"Barbra is so fantastic to work with even when the kids don’t want to cooperate. She’s very with the flow and captures the best pictures. I’m so happy with the photos that she’s taken. And we will definitely use her again."

I’m not the strongest woman at the gym. I’m not the most fit. I can’t jump a box. I can’t climb a rope. I’m too scared to attempt a handstand. Some days the thought of stepping foot into the gym next to beautiful, strong fierce women is intimidating. When the idea of a Ladies Night first came out, I went back and forth between pushing myself out of my comfort zone by participating, or making an excuse by saying “next time”. What if I couldn’t lift as heavy as the other girls? What if my outfit looks stupid? And worst of all...my worst fear...what if my stomach rolls and muffin top are actually photographed?! Leading up to the shoot, Barb eased every anxiety I had with her positivity and openness. The Ladies Night was full of fun, laughter, and most importantly support and encouragement. I anxiously awaited the pictures to be sent, and within a couple days they were in my mailbox. I frantically scrolled through each picture trying to find the one I was SURE I looked terrible in. It wasn’t there. Barb found a way to not only make me feel comfortable in my own skin, but photograph that new found confidence. Women are meant to build each other up. I’m so thankful for Barb, and all of the other CrossFit Newtown ladies who continue to be the biggest cheerleaders at the gym. These pictures will be saved forever and remembered as a pivotal moment in my fitness journey.

"Barb photographed a few woman at our gym for a fun ladies night! At first most of us where apprehensive being in front of the camera, but Barb put us at ease. I ended up having a fun night with my girlfriends and forgot the camera was even there. After getting the photos back I realized I was thrilled to view myself through another lens. These photos made me feel powerful and beautiful."

I’ve always seen my body and found something to hate. It wasn’t until CrossFit that I started to find self love again. As someone in recovery from an eating disorder, the idea of taking photos, let alone with other people, made me very anxious. I am so grateful to have had the chance to do CrossFit photoshoots with Barb over the past few months! She took the time to show me the photos, check to see if I was comfortable with all of them and was so encouraging. I can’t thank her enough to for capturing the moments where I’m at my happiest and strongest.
